Electrical boxes have a two hour fire rating, they are all that stands between your (paper backed) sheetrock & wood framing and your electrical connections. Their most important job is to contain a fire in the event of a fault.
Knowing that, it is easy to see why cutting a box to fit around an ob...

In older homes, a cold water bond is often the only path to ground.
This homes plumbing system was updated, removing the copper line this ground clamp was attached to, and inadvertently leaving this customer with an ungrounded electrical system 😬

The typical electric space heater has a current draw of 1500w. That translates to 12a at 120v.
While your wiring is rated for 15a under normal conditions, it is only rated for 80% of that under a continuous load. This means your wiring is at full capacity using ONLY the space heater. Any addition...

I am extremely pleased with the work done at my home by MorLite Electrical! They replaced my 150-amp electric panel with a 200-amp panel that included greater safety features (updated grounding & bonding, whole-home surge protection, AFCI circuit breakers). They also installed a 30 Amp Generator plug on the outside wall and ran two additional 20 Amp lines. All work was exceptionally done. They clearly explained all the work performed and thoroughly answered all my questions. I am not only delighted with the quality of their work but also have greater peace of mind with the additional safety enhancements. They were also neat and cleaned up the work areas. They adhered to COVID safety guidelines, as well (masks & 6-feet distancing). I highly recommend this company for any electrical work. I won’t hesitate to reach out to MorLite for future work.

Larry was responsive and flexible when I had to reschedule our appointment. He showed up on time and called before to give us a 20 minute heads up. There were very respectful of our home by wearing boot covers and face masks. They were able to quickly assess the issue and quote us a fair price to fix the problem. As our home is a little older, we will definately be using MorLite moving forward, they are awesome!

Needed a thermostat installed for my new tankless water heater. Glad I found MorLite Electric, they were professional and finished the job in a reasonable amount of time. Already have them scheduled for another job for an issue they pointed out to me. Betty W.
