This customer was experiencing an intermittent fault, outlets sometimes worked, and sometimes not.
Meanwhile the failing connection was getting hot enough to start melting this outlet box!
A power failure may be the only warning you get before a house fire, don't ignore it!

When it absolutely HAS to be done over the weekend, we can. ๐Ÿ˜Ž๐Ÿ‘
Glad to get this commercial customer up and running before the business week begins again, now to get some sleep ๐Ÿ˜…

This customer had a VERY close call with this worn out Dryer outlet.
Any outlet that does not hold a plug in place is no longer safe to use and should be replaced

As power outages plague the country during these storms, remember that backfeeding your homes power supply without a transfer switch or interlock kit is extremely dangerous.
Homemade cords with two male ends create potential for backfeeding utility lines and create a situation where the prongs ar...

Check out the size difference in these original and replacement ballasts!

Not all electrical loads are the same!
This piece of equipment wired today was a 240V 112.5A load that actually required three separate circuits

When you are already spending thousands to replace your HVAC system, the last thing that you want to hear is that your wiring will need to be upgraded to meet the increased demand.
But that is often the case, failing to do so can overload the conductors and put you at risk of fire like we saw today

This is the section of an electrical panel where the breaker attaches to the buss. The pitting you see is caused by arcing. Arcing is a frequent cause of electrical fires.

Testimonials

Larry was responsive and flexible when I had to reschedule our appointment. He showed up on time and called before to give us a 20 minute heads up. There were very respectful of our home by wearing boot covers and face masks. They were able to quickly assess the issue and quote us a fair price to fix the problem. As our home is a little older, we will definately be using MorLite moving forward, they are awesome!

I am extremely pleased with the work done at my home by MorLite Electrical! They replaced my 150-amp electric panel with a 200-amp panel that included greater safety features (updated grounding & bonding, whole-home surge protection, AFCI circuit breakers). They also installed a 30 Amp Generator plug on the outside wall and ran two additional 20 Amp lines. All work was exceptionally done. They clearly explained all the work performed and thoroughly answered all my questions. I am not only delighted with the quality of their work but also have greater peace of mind with the additional safety enhancements. They were also neat and cleaned up the work areas. They adhered to COVID safety guidelines, as well (masks & 6-feet distancing). I highly recommend this company for any electrical work. I wonโ€™t hesitate to reach out to MorLite for future work.

Needed a thermostat installed for my new tankless water heater. Glad I found MorLite Electric, they were professional and finished the job in a reasonable amount of time. Already have them scheduled for another job for an issue they pointed out to me. Betty W.
