Not all boxes are created equal.
This is a typical lighting box from the 1950's, many people believe that because a box is metal, it will support a ceiling fan, but that is NOT the case. Ceiling fan boxes must be labeled "Suitable for fan support". Before installing a ceiling fan, this box must b...

I emailed the company for a quote and got a quick response back. Company was on time and very professional. They wore shoe protection to not damage my floors and wore mask to due to covid-19. The company talked me through everything and educated me on things I did not understand. They got all my outlets working again in a timely manner. Plus they didn’t break my bank. Would highly recommend this company!! Don’t think twice.

MorLite Electric is hands down the best. This is a small business of professionals who really know what they are doing. Our electricians took the utmost care when coming in and out of our house such as foot pads, walking in driveway vs. the grass, cleaning up after a repair etc. I really appreciate that extra touch. Larry is really good at what he does and had no troubles finding our problem and repairing it. I also appreciated that he explained everything to me and was transparent throughout the job if something came up. I would say his prices are more than reasonable and very fair. Larry came on time and called prior to his arrival each time. I really appreciated him and his team. They will be our go-to for any electrical needs in the future.

Why choose MorLite Electric LLC?

Hi, my name is Larry Dedmon. I am a master licensed electrician and lifetime Hampton Roads resident. I've been doing electrical service in the area since 2003.

I started MorLite Electric LLC with the goal of providing a better experience for my customers by offering up front prices with no hourly rates and putting a licensed electrician on every job.

When you pay an hourly rate, you are often going to find yourself being billed for drive time to your home, trips to get parts, phone calls, and just plain INEFFICIENCY! A company billing at an hour rate has no incentive to send their best technicians because they make more money when the job takes longer! Our up front pricing allows you to better budget and know the cost before any work is started.

The fact is, just because a company is licensed, that does not mean the same for their technicians. Most companies ONLY licensed electrician is the owner! These companies will send apprentices or otherwise unlicensed technicians to your home! MorLite Electric LLC believes this is a deceptive and unethical business practice and pledges to send licensed electricians to ALL calls.

We hope you will choose us for all your electrical service needs!
